Photo Gallery
Event in the BJCC

The Barbara Jordan Conference Center utilizes a variety of state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment. An automated ceiling-mounted projector platform and 3 built-in projection screens allow three simultaneously projected images to be viewed on walls of the conference facility. PowerPoint can be used with this system, as well as live Internet access, VHS and DVD. An AMX audio-visual touch panel allows the speaker to control A/V from any part of the conference space. Wireless microphones as well as a daisy-chain microphone system are available in the conference facility.

The conference center includes remote controlled, wall-mounted 3-chip broadcasting cameras. Multiple scenes of broadcast lighting have been installed for event broadcasting, taping or webcasting within the conference facility. Conveniently located floor boxes for AV, data, and power connections allow a wide variety of seating and podium arrangements.

Two raised stage areas are possible in the conference room, including a modular wheelchair ramp and moveable press risers. Both a free standing and a table-top podium, with built-in microphones, may be placed on the raised platforms or on the floor of the Conference Center.

Below you’ll find descriptions of our various facilities, as well as links to typical conference center floor plans and seating capacities.
