The Kaiser Family Foundation conducts site visits for U.S. and non-U.S. journalists on HIV/AIDS and other international health topics. Site visits have included trips to Brazil, South Africa, Zambia, Canada and numerous locations within the United States. Note that site visits are by invitation only. Workshops for Journalists on HIV/AIDS

The International Health Journalism Fellowship Program has organized a number of workshops outside the U.S., in locations such as Russia, Ukraine, Southern Africa, the Caribbean and India for groups of regional reporters and occasionally U.S. journalists in each country.  The workshops focus on a variety of HIV/AIDS reporting issues and topics.  Examples of prior workshop agendas include:
