Reasons For Favorable Impression

In February 2006, among the 22% of all adults, including seniors, who said they have a favorable impression of the new Medicare drug benefit, large majorities say that major reasons for their favorable impression are that it will help pay many of the drug bills for people on Medicare (81%), it allows people on Medicare to choose a plan that meets their needs (76%), it will be helpful for low-income people on Medicare (74%), and it will help them or someone they know pay prescription drug bills (71%).
